Last weekends we met Captain Jack Sparrow, who has been given the responsibilities to change our negative perceptions towards the "English" language. Well done captain! English is no longer scary and difficult.
Mr A: 'Saya sejak kecik takde kawan...dah biasa..'
Me: 'eh...kena ada kawan...cemana-cemana pun..kawan tu penting'
Mr A: 'entahla...tak berapa nampak kat mana keperluannya'
Don't get him/this post wrong...screw dia longgar sket time ni...tsk..
However, talking about ..'F.R.I.E.N.D.S'...
We Do Need Friends, Dear
1. Mr A is actually a very nice guy...he can be a good friend to anyone
2. There are so many types of friends...You have the freedom to categorize and filter yours...:)
3. Believe it or not, friends are actually contributing to one's personalities and characteristics development..
4. The more friends you have, the more confidence you'll be...and you will be much more interesting...
5. If you want to have a long term relationship with your friends...try to learn to forgive...people make mistakes..they might say or do hurtful things...and so do you..
6. I am your friend, Mr A...don't forget to come over during raya...okay...
7. Can't wait for this buka puasa and raya-raya with my 11-years-of-fun-and-laughters' friends....cepat2 vote venue and date..gang!
Memories strike back again when I saw these 'pelita'.... Ayah will usually put on a few on the fence...so that we could play 'bunga api' and all those 'mercun'...and as usual Ayah will be the gang leader of this event..It may sounds funny but Ayah and mercun are like inseparable...
BUT that can never beat the straight line of 'pelitas' in mbah's kampung...One week before raya..my uncles and cousins will be damn busy...finding and preparing sticks to hangover the pelita....the best part was to fill in the gasoline and lit the pelitas' line...which was like 1 km long....and then we would lit our 'bunga api'...and ran as fast as we could from one point to the other before the fire burnt down.....
ohh..all of a sudden i felt mushy...I'm just missing those moments...
Anyway..I'm thinking of putting these at my apartment this year since rania has grown up...she needs to understand and live the traditional malay culture...
Buka puasa in Keramat tiba2 turned to Birthday party...Surprise!! Yg datang ni yg got 'surprised' bkn yg celebrate birthday....(*_*)....Tgh prepare nak buka puasa..suddenly Dedek came back with a cake...
Anyway...Happy 57th Mama...wishing you a joyful and prosperous years ahead (err..tetiba sounds like chinese new year greeting pulak...)...and Happy 2nd Birthday Ammar...a little candle goes a long way to make the day special....
Note: Ammar really got excited with the drum set yg Acu Yaya bought for him...Adam pun dapat present jugak..wahh..
I never knew Allahyarhamah, but I came across this news and poem that really touched my deepest heart. I found out that she wrote this 2 weeks before she passed away, for her daughter, Hylda's 2nd birthday...Alfatihah to Allahyarhamah Norhasyimah Wahid..semoga Allah tempatkan kamu di kalangan orang2 yg beriman...
Poem For Hylda
I’m missing the warmth they offer
I’m missing the laughters that accompanied them always
Which magically instantly chase all the blues away..
And makes it seem possible to shoulder the world once again..
Hylda turns two today
The lonesome feels stronger today
I wish i can be with her
Singing happy birthday song to her
And see she blows the candle light away
And there he was my sweetheart
To shoo the guilt away
And bring in the sunshine to brighten up our days..
Daddy bought you a nice big birthday cake
For you to enjoy with your friends at school
Just in case you stopped a second to wonder
Where mommie is today..
Allah is great
I get to see my babygurl
On her special day of turning two years old today
And the sadness slowly fades away
Seeing her singing birthday song again and again
Enjoying the attention she gets despite her mommie is away
I am happy to see that my babygurl is happy today...
